Sydney, Australia, 11 Oct 2016 – Mizzen Group, a Sydney based shipping and logistics technology business focused on the digitising of the container shipping marketplace, is pleased to announce the appointment of experienced maritime executive Jon Charles as Managing Director.
Mr Charles has worked nearly two decades in the liner shipping business and brings a wealth of Asia Pacific and European experience to the Mizzen Group. His most recent role was leading the Regional Corporate Planning department of NYK Line in Oceania, having previously held positions in Trade Management for NYK Line and CP Ships. He holds a BSc (Hons) in International Transport from Cardiff University of Wales, a Masters of Accounting from Sydney University and is an Associate CPA.
